Autolyse plus is a quick lysing reagent and contains quaternary ammonium salt having the best surface active property which is used as stromatolysing agent. The formulation is adjusted to facilitate complete lysing of erythrocyte cell walls and dissolve them to prevent from interfering during the measurement of WBCs. During this process, released hemoglobin forms a stable chromogen compound.
